Wildwood beaches have been voted some of the best in the country and are host to a number of events throughout the season, including championship volleyball tournaments, monster truck rallies, motocross races, Hobie Cat races, concerts and the Wildwoods International Kite Festival.

Wildwoods Convention Center

Located on the world famous Wildwoods Boardwalk directly overlooking the beach and ocean, this unique, state-of-the-art, 260,000-square-foot facility offers one of the most spacious, flexible, innovative and inviting venues available for conventions, trade shows, meetings, concerts and exhibits. Located within a day’s drive of one-third of America’s population, it can accommodate groups as small as 100 or as large as 10,000.


Hereford Inlet Lighthouse

inlet-lighthouseHereford Inlet Lighthouse is a working lighthouse as well as a museum. It is open to the public for guided and self guided tours. Visitors will learn about the history of Hereford and get a glimpse of the life of a lighthouse keeper in the late 19th and early 20th century.





Wildwood Historical Society

Our museum is an invaluable source of information and enjoyment for anyone who enters its doors. Once you step inside you feel as if you have been transported back in time. From the resorts simple beginnings in the late 1800’s to the rock and rollin’ hey-days of the 1950’s and 60’s the museums collection of photographs, artifacts and memorabilia covers it all… it is truly amazing.







Sunken Ship, Sunset Beach

sunken-shipThe S. S. Atlantus is probably the most famous concrete ship. She was built by the Liberty Ship Building Company in Brunswick, Georgia and launched on December 5, 1918 and was the second concrete ship constructed in the World War I Emergency Fleet. On June 8th, a storm hit and the ship broke free of her moorings and ran aground 150 feet off the coast of Sunset Beach. Several attempts were made to free the ship, but none were successful. Since then the Atlantus has become a tourist attraction seen by millions.






Cape May Lighthouse

cape-may-lighthouseThe lighthouse was built in 1859 under the supervision of U.S. Army engineer William F. Raynolds, was automated in 1946, and continues operation to this day. It is the third fully documented lighthouse to be built at Cape May Point. The first was built in 1823; the second in 1847.









Cape May County Zoo

Naval Air Station Wildwood

naval-air-stationNaval Air Station (NAS) Wildwood Aviation Museum is a non-profit museum located at the Cape May Airport inside historic Hangar #1. Commissioned in April 1943, NAS Wildwood served as an active dive-bomber squadron training facility during World War II. Today, Hangar #1 has been restored and transformed into an Aviation Museum that houses a number of aircraft, engines, special exhibits, and educational interactive displays.






Raging Waters Waterpark

Behind Mariner’s Landing, guests will find action and excitement at Raging Waters Waterpark. Inspired by shipwrecks, this waterpark looks and feels like it might have just washed up one day ready for families to enjoy.

US Coast Guard Training Center
